What Makes Us Unique
Our Cakes
All of our cakes are true pan size layers. We will NEVER take one layer in order to make it 2 layers. We believe in giving you what you order. Our 6, 8 and 9 inch cakes are 2 layers using a 2" deep pan. Our 10 inch cakes are 2 layers using a 3 "deep pan. Half sheets are 2 inches single layer, double layers are special request. We also DO NOT offer cupcakes. We offer our mini bundt cakes which we feel are much better looking and value for your money.

Derrick's Cake Delights will continue to be closed to accepting any new cake order request while I am still recovering from having 2 back surgeries in January. I hope to start accepting new orders on a limited basis starting in April. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience and I will be back to bring you the best yet. After every 5th cake order of a 9" or larger earn a FREE 9 inch basic design cake. Images and extras not normally for that flavor of cake are subject to an additional cost. (Delivery not included)

After every 10th bundt cake order receive a FREE bundt cake. (Delivery not included)

Derrick’s Cake Delights delivery rates are from the starting point of 2929 Turner Hill Road in Lithonia, GA 30038, (Stonecrest Mall).

Over 50 miles call for a quote
All orders require a 7 to 10 days’ notice and must be placed by 2:00 pm on the day of ordering. Orders that are placed less than 4 days are subject to a 25% additional charge due to time. Orders that are over 100.00 require a non-refundable deposit of 50% with the balance to be paid based on the agreed quote/contract. Custom orders need at least 2 weeks' notice minimum and require a consultation before order is placed. As of October 1st 2023, DCD will now be adding a sales tax of 8% to all orders since we have now been given a tax ID number. Orders less than 100.00 before delivery must be paid in full at the time of ordering. In some cases, your order may require additional or special packaging due to the size of your order in which additional charges will be added. You may pay via Cash App. NEXT DAY ORDERS ARE NOT TAKEN. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. We DO NOT accept checks of any kind as a form of payment. Once you receive your order from us, we are not responsible for the condition of your product during transport or your handling of the products. Please make sure it is placed flat on the surface and that it can be in a cool place. If the product is left in warm or hot conditions, it will affect the look and possibly the taste. DCD holds NO responsibility.
Derrick's Cake Delights will gladly replace any product off of our menu that is unsatisfactory due to an error on our part for the same flavor. Simply notify us within 24 hours and do not throw it away. We will pick up the product once we replace your cake as soon as possible. If the cake to be replaced is not available for return, no exchange will be done. Special request, tiered cakes & off menu flavors do not qualify to be replaced.
